Anybody know about Java? In the last few months I keep getting a Java reports which are getting more regular from 1 every week or so to most days now (see below) but I am unsure what it all means. Can anybody out there read it and understand what going on?

webjoe , very old version of Java and one that was vulnerable to being used to infect a pc. It's important that you keep your Java installation up to date.
Follow...this...link. Scroll down to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6 and click on the download button. Select your operating system ( windows ) from the drop down menu , tick the "i agree" box and click continue. Tick the "Windows Offline Installation" box and click on the link below it. Download the file to your pc , close all open applications and then run the file. Once that's done reboot your pc. Finally check in add/remove that the entry for update 6 is showing and if all is well uninstall the Java Runtime Development, SE 1.4.2 04 entry.
