Hi All, has anybody tried the tip number 6 on page 25 of issue 186, Hide Icon names ?? I cant get this to work. Holding down Alt doesn't allow me to enter the 255 ?? Anyone had any luck with this ?? cheers M
Are you (a) selecting the icon and pressing the F2 [Rename] key before you hold down Alt and (b) using the numeric keypad on the right-hand side of your keyboard to type in 255?
Hi rirvine, sorted... haven't got a numeric keypad on the right of my keyboard.( using a laptop ). Used the Num Lk function. Never used it before.. Thanks for your reply. Cheers M
