Hi all. can someone please advise me, while I was playing a game on my laptop from a well known site called IWIN ( they promise no spyware etc ) the game crashed or at least at the end of the game i was informed that there was a problem and the game had crashed, although i had finished the actual game. but when i logged out all my icons had changed and are really big. i've tried everything to change them back to normal size but nothing works. I have gone into control panel and followed all instructions on altering the size of the icons, but that didn't work, I even tried system restore, but that informed me nothing had changed on my computer, what can I do that may work? thanks all.

Hi
No expert but as no one else has replied you could try this (but it may only be a different approach to what you have already tried)
if you are using Xp right click on the desk top select "properties" select "appearance" "effects" and make sure that the "use large icons" is un-ticked.
