Hello!
I have recently bought a new laptop which came with vista, a few weeks later and I still havent a clue what is going on half the time! I am keen on removing a lot of stuff I will never use to free up space however I dont want to go deleting files when I am not so sure what I am doing! Can anyone recommend any good sites that are kind of like an idiots guide? And a walk though of how to delte some programs (if they can even be delted) like Windows Media Centre and Windows Metting Space.
Over all I like the look of vista a lot more but all these new things are putting me off, if it had come with XP it would be just how I want it by now!
Thanks in advance for any tips/links/advice!

Why would you want to start removing programs you have just paid for?If you did not want the Media Centre you should have bought Basic. I have never owned a PC before this one and I get on fine.Give it a chance.

It is actually a refurbished laptop that came with this version of vista installed. I had no say, if I did then I would of got basic.
And thank you bobnemesis, that link is really useful, am really beginning to get to grips with it
