Uninstall MS Works before installing MS Office?
      #390159 - Wed Apr 02 2008 11:52 AM

A little advice please. I have just taken delivery of a new laptop, which came with MS Works pre installed. I have an original copy of MS Office 2003 and I will be installing it as soon as I know if I should remove MS Works first, after, or at all.
What are the benefits (if any) of keeping Works on the laptop and in what order should I complete this installation? Many thaks for your anticipated help.

There is no need to uninstall MSWorks from your System.
MS Office 2003 is a totally different program has has nothing to do with Works.

Works is handy for various 'Tasks' which I'm sure your aware of. Your choice whether you remove it.

Thanks very much Fusion, I can get on and install it now and will leave Works on there.
