Setting up paper in MS Works
      #389987 - Mon Mar 31 2008 04:38 PM

I am trying to print a page of A5 paper so that it prints on the right side of the paper. It is for some invitations that my wife is doing for a customer but everytime I print it out it either prints the whole lot in the middle of the page or it prints it so far over to the right that it only gets half of the text.
This is how it is printing out.

I'd really appreciate the help and as always many thanks in advance.

When you say your using MS Works, are you using the word processor?

If you are, go to the Menu Bar > File > Page setup > Source, Size & Orientation > Landscape > Size > A5 > OK

Go to the Menu Bar again > Format > Columns > Number of columns - 2 > OK

By default the cursor will be in the left column. Use the Enter key to move down and into the right column.

You can now proceed to input your wording.

You need to use A5 paper though. If you are using A4, it won't be in the correct position and you will have to crop to suit after printing.

Margin changes will/can make a difference to overall results also.

Hope this helps.
