My TSST corp CD/DVDWTS-H552B ReWriter suddenly fails to recognise and blank disks when inserted. This annoyingly has stopped me writing to disks through Windows normally.
But Nero has no trouble recognising so I can use for Burning etc.

If you can use Nero why do you want to also use the less-featured Windows burner? If you can offer a practical reason, there may be a few things you can try.
Incidentally, it’s never a good idea to use two burning programs.
