It hurts when you have to pay to learn, sorry to hear about your experience.
Malwarebytes Blog will keep you in touch with the rogues.

spyware Pro
Is it Spyware Protection Pro by 3bsoftware.com ??? Have you removed all this stuff and had the PC cleaned by someone "in the know".
A good guide to what's good and what's not , ( anti virus pro is NOT ).... here.
Anti Virus Pro is mentioned , and comes from the same company as AlfaCleaner, Winhound Spyware Remover, & XSRemover. Look up one of these on that page and you'll see what they're all about.
Bottom line is there's no need to shell out money to protect your pc as there are quite a few trustworthy free alternatives available.
It's a harsh lesson i'm afraid . You won't be the first, nor will you be the last.

It's bogus and requires removal. Follow the instructions contained in this post, then post your log back to the HijackThis forum (not the Security news and updates forum which is where you are now) along with a brief description of your problem. Please be patient, lots of logs, too few helpers. BTW welcome to Webuser.

Cheers for that. Going through that lot will keep me occupied and interested for the rest of the day , at least . Really surprised at the amount of "newbies" that keep appearing and it's obviously been keeping Bruce and Mike very busy. I make no apologies for yet again announcing my admiration for ALL the guys and gals in this field who give up so much their time in order to help others. We'd all be in a sorry state without them.
P.S. I'm still using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware as part of my armoury.

You don't sound dim, ask questions if you want to learn. Post your log without removing anything. When you post your log make sure you post the whole log and a brief description of your problem or a link back to this thread. Don't go back and add anything later until you receive a reply or your log will drop down the list and you'll be waiting longer. All the best.
