HP Scanjet 2300c will not work following MS Update?

I ran MS update over the weekend. Now when I double click on HP Director, through which I manage scans, the program will not open. Help please! Thank you.

Do you have up to date drivers?

Check on HP website for the latest.

Installing a 'critical update following the installation of Internet Explorer 7' has solved the problem.
