Wondering if you can spot anything on here that could be slowing down my PC.
The PC is a Dell Dimension 2300 but over the last couple of months it is slowing to a crawl. There is gig of ram at 2.5 processor, I have ran a bit of anti spyware stuff but still seems horribly slow. Any clues on a possible virus or trojan?
Also noticed Wannadoo coming up in the hijack log but haven't had this for ages and don't know where the file is hiding away!

Click Start> Run and type MSConfig in the 'Run' box. When the System Configuration Utility opens,
click on the 'Startup Tab' and make sure there is a checkmark beside each entry.
Also check the 'General Tab' has the "normal startup" option checked. REBOOT when asked to by Windows to complete the change.
Then post a fresh HJT log.

we need to disable spybot teatimer for HJT to work.
1. Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer.
Then :-
Rerun HJT,and put a checkmark beside these :-
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {AA58ED58-01DD-4d91-8333-CF10577473F7} - (no file)

now close all windows and browsers and click FIX CHECKED
Then :-
Download and scan with CCleaner - Starting with v1.27.260, CCleaner installs the Yahoo Toolbar as an option which IS checkmarked by default during the installation.
IF you do NOT want it, REMOVE the checkmark when provided with the option OR download the toolbar-free or Slim versions instead of the Standard Build.
- Before first use, select Options > Advanced and UNCHECK "Only delete files in Windows Temp folder older than 48 hours"
Then select "Cookies"
Move any cookies you wish to retain, e.g. login cookies, in the left-hand window to the right-hand window by highlighting them and clicking the right arrow in the centre.
- Then select the items you wish to clean up.
In the Windows Tab:
• Clean all entries in the "Internet Explorer" section.
• Clean all the entries in the "Windows Explorer" section.
• Clean all entries in the "System" section.
• Clean all entries in the "Advanced" section.
• Clean any others that you choose.
In the Applications Tab:
• Clean all entries in the Mozilla Firefox Section.
• Clean all in the Opera section if you use it.
• Clean Sun Java in the Internet Section.
• Clean any others that you choose.
- Click the "Run Cleaner" button.
- A pop up box will appear advising this process will permanently delete files from your system.
- Click "OK" and it will scan and clean your system.
- Click "exit" when done.
then DEFRAG your C:\ drive.
to help speed up your system.
