hi all i am new to this and thought u guys might be able to help me
i rebooted my computer afew days ago and my sound isnt working? i think i downloaded all the nessecary drivers for my sound card which is a motherboard sound card (if that makes sense?)
the name of my motherboard is ECS 755-A2 VIA AC'97 AUDIO CONTROLLER seems to not be working?
if anyone could help me with this matter it would be greatly appriciated
Do you mean 'rebooted'? A reboot is simply switching it off and switching it on again. Have you been to this site to find your drivers?

It's not that difficult! Go to this page and click on the link that says scan computer for drivers.

i have been on the website to scan the drivers and it says my drivers (for my audio) are fine? but there is a download icon next to it? i dont really want to pay 40$ or w/e it is to fix the issue?
