After reading the current Web User I was looking at security downloads.
First question, none of the rootkit software seemed to be for Vista. Does Vista not suffer from rootkit infections?
Second question, is Windows Defender any good? Should I uninstall it and use Spyware Blaster? I guess I should use them together? I already use Adaware and Spybot.
Thanks!

GMER does , although ,as the mag says ,it looks like a bit of a head scratcher.
F-Secure works with Vista BUT , it's a Beta version , so for me it's not worth the risk.
Here .. a list of ( mostly free ) Antirootkits. If you scroll down to IceSword and click on it's link , you'll see it has a Vista version. I can't vouch for it though as i haven't used it and i don't use Vista.

Yes , install SpywareBlaster , but it's not a scanner like Windows Defender , it's an application that prevents nasty stuff from being installed in the first place. If you're happy with Ad-Aware and Spybot then you don't really need Windows Defender ( in my view anyway ).
