New to the forum and just after a bit of advice and accounts of experience with the two listed ISPs (AOL&Madasafish). I'm after a broadband deal which utilizes a BT line (existing and would like to keep it), is capable of 8MB download speed, is a good deal, offers good customer service and has 4GB upwards download limit on it. I would also like a free wireless router which would work with Mac OSX as well. So far it seems to be between the two mentioned ISPs. Any experience with the two companies etc would be greatly appreciated as I have come across posts talking about AOLs cancelation charges etc.
That decision isn't made by any ISP it is a function of your telephone line and is totally dependent on your distance from the t/p exchange. Have you checked to see what your line is capable of? Try this for an estimate.
