Doom hath befallen me
      #387311 - Fri Mar 07 2008 09:01 AM

Sorry for the dramatic subject

I have reached the end of my tether with my pc.
It keeps freezing when connected to the internet, with it sometimes freezing upon the startup. It's ridiculous. I have run SpybotS&D, AVG, Trend Micro online scan thingy, and Adware. They all bring up nothing, although I found the trojan 'zlob.DNS' with spybot, but it was gone the next time. Towards the end of any Spybot scan, I can see that the files its scanning are Zlob.(something) so its still there. I posted a combo and hijack this log

Please help, only pc we have

I am emotionally distraught by the turn of events that has been bestowed upon me. I wondereth, due to Spybot scanning files known to me to be of malcious nature, and towardsth the endeth of the scan, if there be a folder known to be a haven for this heretical virus. I shall be felicitous for any help recieved. Registry scanners dont seem to work or require dubloons for disinfection.

Whilst thou musteth wait indeed for thy peers to process the data thou hast provided, here is some discourse on the subject of thy infection, http://research.sunbelt-software.com/thr...;threatid=44478

Here is the Symantec (Norton) response to that infection, http://securityresponse1.symantec.com/sarc/sarc.nsf/html/trojan.zlob.j.html

Reading through it we are reminded of the need to Disable System Restore before we run an antivirus check, something that's easy to forget!
