hi all
i recently bought 2x1gb ddr2 mem sticks to add to the 2x1gb mem sticks already in my machine.
before installing them i checked systems info and it showed that i had 2045.56mb
of total physical mem.
when i added the 2 new sticks the sys info showed i had a total of 3325.56 of mem
i thought it should have shown a total of 4090mb - it would appear that i have lost 765mb of mem - or is there another reason for this,
can anyone explain this discrepancy?
my m/board is a msi ms-7358
yours aye

Are you running a 32-bit system? It is explained here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929605/en-us
