I am working on a new web site (not online yet) and i would like to display added information to any potential visitors via a text link. But have failed after trying tooltips and even the <title> tag didn't help? I am running a Linux OS (PCLinuxOS) and use the Firefox and Konqueror browsers. Any help and/or Advice would be appreciated.

Your post is not to clear quite what your trying to acheive, do you mean you are trying to add a link to a web page that has your sited newest information or latest news or something. if so the link would look like this
<a href="NameOfNewPage.html">Latest News</a>
Change the name of things to suit.
If that is not what your asking please post more info
