I've just installed Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit). My sound now works but is a really poor quality. I believe I need some drivers for my sound card. I've activated it with a legit key and used windows update. I may need to buy a new sound card. (Hopefully not)
Does that mean you activated it with the key that came with the DVD when you bought it?

Normally a sound card will either work or not at all if it's a driver problem. Can you be a bit more specific about the sound quality. How is it different from the original?
