Hello all, I have a Gateway computer running windows XP. Last week while downloading, Mcafee came up and said I had a PUP. I said delete it, since then my Icons and taskbar keep going in and out. Only way to do anything is with taskmanager. I tried to restore but all restore points was gone. I could only restore back to when this happen and that didn't change anything. I have looked for a way to fix this but can't find out what is wrong. I do know that explorer.exe is not in the running programs. If I type it in under taskmanager the icons come up but disappear. Can someone please offer a suggestion or help with this problem.
