Sound no picture
      #385415 - Wed Feb 20 2008 05:25 PM

Hi all,

After years of reading webuser I thought it was about time I made use of its forum service with a problem I have.
I seem unable to watch video on websites but I have sound.
I am running vista and use firefox as my browser.
I notice that sites that have the video embedded seems fine, for example, youtube, but other sites like my local football site seem to have another way of displaying video. These are the ones I can't see.
Do they use windows media player through their sites?

I have WMP, quicktime and realplayer installed.

Advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Could be Flash movies that you can't see. Have you installed Adobe Flash player from here?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
