IE7 Phishing filter not working
      #384018 - Tue Feb 12 2008 11:06 PM

This evening I noticed that the phishing filter in IE7 is not working. The filter tries to check the website but eventually a small red cross appears on the filter icon at the bootom of the screen.
When I click on it I am told that the website cannot be checked as IE7`s phishing filter is temporarily unavailable.I have checked the settings and the automatic website checker is on.I did spend the best part of an hour downloading updates, one of which was for IE7. Could this be the cause of the problem or is it something else?

I checked gooogle and it seems its a fairly common problem,it also seems to correct itself after a few hours.

If it only works part of the time, what use is it?

As you didn't say its an intermittent problem i assumed it had stopped working altogether.
