Hi All, I will soon be buying a new PC. One thing it will be doing is processing lots of video from my camcorder, editing, rendering, burning to disk etc. Can any of you good people tell me which is the best processor for doing this kind of work please? Indeed, IS there a best chip?, or best combination of motherboard, operating system, RAM etc? Due to other commitments (life in general!) I'm out-of-touch with the latest developements in the PC world, especially processor speeds etc, can anyone give me some advice please? Thanks in advance, Tim.

I don't think you can go wrong with a quad-core processor and 2+ gig of RAM (Also, a dedicated graphics card is quite important). I think that is all that matters, I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong.
