Can't run task manager

Hi all
When I press Control-Alt and Delete the computer bleeps , but nothing more.
Running Windows XP sp2.
Any suggestions ?

Try 51 right hand pane Enable the Task Manager if that doesn't work and you've scanned for nasties then a trip to the HijackThis forum may may necessary.
