When i click on some of the programs that came with my computer, it says empty alongside. I know it,s something as a novice user that i,ve done , is it possible to get them back. I did,nt have a windows disc when i bought my computer. Please can anyone advise.

You may have uninstalled them at some point and it's left the shortcut in the Programs menu behind.
You can only get htme back if you have a recovery partition that will reinstall these if they came preinstalled.
