Control Panel and My computer gone missing

I recently used Revo uninstaller to get rid of some old programs. However, I now find I can't access Control Panel or My Computer. When I click on either of these the 'Search Panel' opens. I don't fancy Restoring to an earlier date as it would re-load all the c**p I wanted to get rid of.
I use Windows XP.

Try 256 on the left hand side.
