Can anyone recommend a good (free) guitar tuning programme, where I can connect my guitar via line-in and then strum strings and adjust with the program telling me when they are right or not. Not one where the programme plays the note and I have to try and match it because my ear is not that good.
I tried a few via a Google search, but none seemed to work or be obvious how to use
IMO you'd be better off investing £10.99 in one of these, no computer needed, take it with you, use it anywhere...

I agree with TFC, I tried the online programmes where you have to match your strings to their sounds too and it was awful - some things are better the 'old fashioned' way
