I've been on the hijack this forum and that turned out fine, my problem is when I turn on my pc all I get is windows loading...for about 5 minutes until it goes to idle (the windows logo darting around the screen) then I get my log in screen and away I go, but then after successfully surfing the net, when it's left to go on idle ie screensaver, it freezes and I have to re-start, then it starts again waiting for the windows logo to appear.
I'm running windows xp pro sp2, AVG antivirus, and now COMODO Firewall.
Intel celeron 2.4ghz, 767mb RAM
I haven't recently installed any programmes so I'm at a loss as to what the problem is.
All suggestions welcome please.

Tommy , there is another reply to your hijacklog. Check that out first.
If there's still no joy i noticed in your log you say ...."I ran Glary utilities on Monday for the first time, could this be connected in some way?....The question is did the problem start after this , if so try a system restore to before it was installed/run.
