Are you using a BT Yahoo icon on the desktop to open IE? Have you got an IE shortcut icon on your desktop?

You can change your homepage (what you see when you open your browser) to whatever you wish, by clicking on Tools-->Internet Options-->enter address of whatever you want under "Homepage".

I'm sorry. I'm unclear then what you want to do/what you want to see when you use either of those desktop icons.

Are you using IE 6 or 7?

If you are using XP, You can choose which browser is your default by pressing:
Start>Set Program Access & Defaults>Custom then click on the dropdown menu on the right. There it lets you choose which your default browser will be.

Hope this helps, Mugsy

open firefox, then press start>progaccess>custom. Don' opt for microsoft windows. Opt for custom, there is a drop down menu button on the right of the 'custom' bar. click on this then choose your browser. With firefox open, you can click the 'use my current browser' box. enable access to firefox & IE. Press ok & all should be good.
