Attaching item from real player to Email
      #380882 - Tue Jan 22 2008 01:09 AM

When I want to transfer an item from the library in real player to Email, I do the usual and click on attach. All the usual files etc appear and when I try to open real player it does not allow me to open and choose from the library what I want to send,it simply attaches the whole file, how can I select and send items from the library. I am on XP and talktalk.
Thanks Cauldbum

Have you tried navigating direct to the Library?

C: Drive > Program Files > Real > Real Player > Library > Right click on an item > Send to > Mail recipient

You'll be taken to your email default client and you can edit or delete the included message and add the recipients name and off you go.

or

Open your email client > Use the attach tab > Navigate to the library > Select.

When you say: . . . . able to tranfer to cd, dvd etc, how are you doing this?

Have you tried Opening your email client > Use the attach tab > Navigate to the library > Select?

Fusion, initially when downloading a visual on screen video item now I r/click the 'Download This Video' and send it to My Docs. I can then use it as normal, it just means I can do anything with real player direct except Email.
With regard to how I do other items from the library I would use burn or transfer, but I have not got DVD rec. only cd and the transfer does not show Email !
I am maybe getting out of my depth here, but will manage using this
Cheers Cauldbum

Yes Fusion , what you are saying is the normal attachment way, so yes I do attach in this way - but it will not transfer the item. Cheers
