How to transfer Playstation Music to PC (then CD) ?
      #380803 - Mon Jan 21 2008 04:09 PM

Hi all,

Some years ago I did some music tracks using PS Music 2000 and PS2 MTV Music Generator and then recorded them to cassette.

I'm now looking to preserve the tracks I did either by transferring the music from Cassette to PC, and then to CD, but the trouble with this method is that there is a lot of hissing in the background, as you do with the old style cassettes!

So, ideally, I'd like to be able to record direct from the PS2 straight to PC using the cheapest (or free) method possible. What software do I need, or cables, etc? The PS2 doesn't have left/right phono output as it's the slimline model.

Am really keen to preserve the music I did and anyone who could help with what I'm wishing to do, I will be very grateful!

Many thanks.

I haven't the foggiest idea as to what connections are on the back of your PS2, can you enlighten me?
