Windows update

Windows update keeps advising that KB942615 is required. This is a cumulative security update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows XP.
The warning has been received despite the update being installed on 17 Dec 2007.
I have had warninge previously with a previous update KB 939653.
Any ideas as to why Windows update does not recognise the existance of the updates on my PC.

Thank you. Have gone through the link given and al of the steps therei. Will see if it has solved the problem.
