Hi Everyone Sorry if this has been asked before I have or should i say being upgraded from 2mb to 8mb (non cable )old ntl freedom to virgin media has they are closing down the old ntl freedom network at the end of march 08. all they have said i have to do is type in the new password and user name using the same router i had that ntl suppied, My question is how do i know that i will be getting 8mb is it the router that governs the speed or the isp end that does it.
Try these to test you internet speed although the results will vary depending on what you are running at the time and the amount of internet traffic in you area.
