Hi, I'll make this short and sweet... I'm helping a friend sort out his office. He has 20 Dell PC's all with wireless network cards connected to a BT router. He's been having trouble with connection speeds and connection loss and is wanting to start from scratch. He's asked me as I've had a little experience networking small stuff at peoples homes but nothing to this degree. Can anyone give me a little advice as to where I should start? Would investing in a better router do the trick (even though BT say the one he has should work fine) or would it be a good start to just hard wire all the PC's to the router instead of wireless? I know a server would be good but I think he's trying to keep the costs low (hence asking me to do it)! Any advice or any helpful links to other sites would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm afraid you have come to the wrong place if you are looking for help in a commercial environment. This forum is for home users. If your friend is running a business he should be seeking professional help and offset the costs against his profits. I will close this thread.

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
