CAN I AUTOMATICALY CONNECT ON START UP?
      #379587 - Sat Jan 12 2008 03:18 PM

Hi there,I was wondering if i can get my system to auto connect to the net on system start-up to save a bit of time having to hit the 'connect to orange broadband' icon on my desk top? it's annoying me now having to close programmes that are trying to connect but are unable to i.e instant messenger's.

once ive clicked the 'connect to orange broadband' icon my passwords are already saved so i just click 'dial'

The modem is a USB SpeedTouch 330,my speed is 2mb,my OS is windows vista
Home premium,AMD athlon 64 X2 processor 4400+

Thanks in advance!

Try Right clicking the Orange icon and copy it.
Now go to All Programs > Startup folder > Paste the icon in there.

To test, reboot and hopefully it will connect on Startup.
