peer to peer wireless printer

I am trying to add a vista laptop to my home network printer via wireless connection through a router. The printer is wired through the desktop XP computer as is the router. However although the Vista laptop can 'see' the printer, when i try to connect I get the message 'access denied'. i have looked elsewhere on the web for advice without success, anyone got any ideas?

Thanks RichieP, folowed the threads and followed all procedures without success. This has me baffled as the laptop can 'see' the networked printer but still it comes up with 'access denied' when i try to connect. Thanks for the reply though.

What firewall are you using on the XP machine?
