I can no longer compose/send messages on Hotmail from my office computer, as the nasty IT people have blocked it. However, a mate told me that I should be able to still use Googlemail. I have signed up for a Googlemail account. My mate also told me that I should be able to link my GMail and my Hotmail address so that even though I'm using GMail, it will look as if I'm sending from Hotmail. However, for the life of me I can't work out how to do this. I sent one email from GMail to my (alternative) Hotmail address but Hotmail refuses to open it as it says it cannot view the sender's address as "Safe". It does not give me the option to add the sender to my Address Book so that all messages open OK. Any hints? Am I missing something obvious. The GMail Help screen was no help!
Thanks.

sorry but you need to pay a full hotmail account to forward onto gmail/googlemail. if you have the free hotmail account then you can only send them to another hotmail addres e.g. live.co.uk, hotmail.co.uk, hotmail.com they kind of things. hope this will help you with your query
