odd forum problem
      #378866 - Mon Jan 07 2008 02:56 PM

ok untill a week or so ago everthing was ok! used startup inspector to see what was being loaded on bootup and didn;t think much of it so uninstalled it now not sure if it's coincedence or not but I can;t get into some forum sites at all! some like here work fine but others just come up with a blank page but, and here's an odd twist I play everquest 2 and if I use the ingame browser that was added a while back I can view/use any forums without any trouble! sites like www.biggsd.com are just a blank page to me in IE but not on the ingame browser any one got any ideas how to sort this out?

I could try that but I'm not totally sure if these forums were working then or not! tbh I've not gone to them for a while so I'm not fully sure if they were working then or not! I just happened to notice it then, also I've download some music tracks since the last restore point in which case I'd lose them! (I think!)

Try it and find out. Create a new restore point for to-day first , then do a system restore to last week . If you find things aren't as you want after the restore then you can bring your pc up to date by restoring back to the newly created restore point.

sorry for the delay! I've taken it back to where I bought it and found a few nasty things on there which managed to slip on and cause problems! I was using IE6 but after a reinstall I'm using IE7 with everything upto date! and a better virus checker! thanks for the help anyway!
