user accounts on start up

Hi all.
Just a quicky, when I boot up my PC I am welcomed with a log on screen for myself which has never been there before. I am the admin and havn't changed anything. When I click my name it loads my settings which is fine but it's a pain as I am the only user.
Anyone know how to remove the log on and get the PC just to bot straight to the desktop?

This normally gets changed after installing some software or an update.

Go to Control Panel > User Accounts.

Click on 'Change the way users log on or off'

Make sure there is a tick next to 'Use the welcome screen'

Go to Start > Run > type control userpasswords2 and press Enter.

Remove the tick next to 'users must enter a username and password'
