Some more information would be useful. Do you get any error messages? Can the drive still write to CD?

Thanks for replying. I'm not getting any error messages, after I put the cd in the drawer just opens up again. It also just opens at random when I'm not using it. I can't write to cd either - I get a message asking to insert disc.
