Hi All,
Firstly Happy New Year to everyone!!!
Been on Orange BB over a year now running 3 pc's, (One wired, 2 Wireless) All was well until one of the Usb adapter's stopped working altogether, purchased a new one from maplins, but when trying to connect to the livebox it constantly reads 'acquiring network address' and I,ve noticed the connection speed cycles from 54mbps, to 24 to just 1mbps and back up again. I've uninstalled the software for the previous adapter etc, but still no joy, tried the adapter from the other pc which I know works fine and the same thing is happening so it's local to that particular pc and not the adapters.
Any Advice gratefully appreciated

Have you pressed the number 1 button on the Livebox? This puts it in pairing mode and gives you 10 mins to find the network, connect and enter the WEP key.

Yes M8 done that, as i mentioned the other pc and adapters that run wirelessly are fine on one pc (the downstairs pc has an ethernet connection) but both adapters are doing the same on just the one upstairs pc which was fine till just before xmas ??!!*^*!

The confusing part is the adapter cycling through 54, 24 and 1 mbps constantly and always saying acquiring network address???????????

Are you using the software that comes with the adapter or the Windows wireless software?
