I am thinking of buying a tablet laptop.
Forgive my naiveness,  , but does the touchscreen bit only work when using a handwriting recognition program, of does it work on all programs just like the mouse.
For example, if I click on "Start" on my windows tablet machine will the start menu pop up. Then, for example, can I proceed to touch, say, my documents and it would load, etc.
Please help if anyone has one.
