It's a classic method used by spammers to fool you into believing that the original mail came from your address - it didn't. It's designed by them to make you open the mail just to check. Don't open them, just delete them.

I agree with greysts and your only getting a designer e-mail that looks like if was sent from yourself. You write the address is genuine, by what means have you come to that conclusion.
