Hi all,
I recently plugged a microphone into my PC so that I could have an audio chat with a friend in France using MSN Messenger. Our microphones and speakers checked out OK but we were unable to start an audio chat. It reported that it was trying to connect but failed everytime, no matter who tried to initiate the chat.
However we were able to carry on a typed instant message session whilst we were trying to work out why the audio chat wasn't working, so clearly the IM connection was OK.
I am using Messenger 6, AOL8 and Windows 98SE. My friend in France connects via Wanadoo.fr.
Does anyone have any bright ideas?
Many thanks,
Alan.
