Webuser Forums: O2 broadband review

Decided to mave from talktalk to O2, as i have phone contract with them it meant upto 16 meg for £10 per month TT would not give me mac code so switched my line back to BT waited two days and phoned BT wholesale who will check your line for free, for any markers or tags left on your line by your old ISP once given the all clear phoned O2 straight through to a UK call centre who took me through the order process as i no longer had any broadband i was like a new customer so just had to wait 6 days to get connected they kept me updated via text ,recd their router which does not come with the wirless reciever but you can use your own or buy one, i connected using their router visited the O2 website and downloaded helpful info to set up my router (must have ADSL 2+) option, O2 box is the size of a betamax vcr and has wep as standard ! anyway got connected very easy set up cd and now the best bit TT gave me 4 meg, BT offered 6 meg once connected O2 is giving me between 11 and 13.8 meg all day every day !!!!!!
