my daughter got a new pc for christmas and put her own password in while setting it up, the problem is she has forgotten the password and i dont know how to get windows started up without it or reset the password
Try starting in Safe Mode and then Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and see if you can change the password there. Hope this helps.
