WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
      #377069 - Mon Dec 24 2007 02:16 PM

All of a sudden my Windows Media Player is not working. I get the message:

"the file wmploc.dll has a version of 11.0.6000.6344 when 11.0.6000.6324
was expected"

Do you want to install the player from the Microsoft Website?

I click and download but it than says I have the most update installed
and will not install

I haven't had need to try this but evidently it works :-

1. Reboot your computer.
2. Click the Windows Orb (Start) > All Programs > Accessories and right-click Command Prompt, then ‘Run as Administrator’. Type "c:\windows\system32\unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMP" and press Enter (not the quotation marks but note the space).
