I have so many problems with USB drives and Printer installation that I believe the best thing would be a Reinstall to clear some programs that are rarely used. With a reinstall does it mean i would have to setup my Router again? the hardware like printer/Scanner /cameras are not a problem I have the genuine XP CD.I seem to remember in the forum it was said that there is another way rather than a full reinstall that left the router setup, if anyone has any helpful suggestion it will be appreciated. Cheers

Even if you wipe the computer, all of the settings that are stored inside the router will remain untouched. This usually includes static IP addresses, DHCP settings, Broadband user/pass, port forwards etc etc.
The only thing I can recommend before you go ahead is to note down any static IP addresses before going on so you can replace them on the computer afterwards. Also note down which programs use what port if you have set up port forwarding rules.
If, you're just plug in and go, it should be a problem at all.
