Wireless Network Settings Not Saving
      #375919 - Fri Dec 14 2007 09:39 PM

Hello Everyone,

I've connected my TalkTalk router to my PC and have then tried to set up a wireless connection for my laptop. I've followed the set-up guide to the letter but every time I switch my laptop on it doesn't pick up the network.

My laptop is running Windows Vista and I've got the EchoLife router. I opened control panel and then 'connect to a network' but the error message is

"The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network."

I have gone through the set-up process 3 times making sure that the option to save settings is selected. Any ideas what's wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help!

That means the passphrase you've entered is wrong.

You need to click on the network icon ans select 'connect to a network'

When you see yours, right-click on it and select Properties.

Enter the key again and try it.

OK OK I can't go any faster! aaaaaaaaaaaagh!
