Ethernet Connections between 2 PCs
      #375829 - Fri Dec 14 2007 10:08 AM

I am trying to connect 2 PCs via ethernet crossover cable (cat 5 UTP patch). Both are using XP. We are wirelessly connected, but we are using sage, and in order to work on the programme at the same time, the wireless connection doesn't seem quick enough, hence trying a wired connection.

Have disabled the firewalls, connected the cable, and there is "limited or no connectivity". I have run network set up wizard on both, to ensure they are the same. Is it because of the wireless already in place, or have I missed something obvious!

Thanks in advance for the help!!
Clare

Sage is used by firms and companies, sorry but this forum is for home computer users only.
