Hello offski (TIA),
Goto Device Manager and find the harddrive -> right-click and click properties -> see what it says about the drive.

Under General: it says the device is working ok and is enabled
Policies: Enable write caching
Volumes: Disk 0, Basic, Online, MBR, Capacity 286189, unallocated and reserve 0mb
Volume Capacity 4mb,
How does it have a space so large then drop to 4mb:(
Thanks for taking the time to help

On your desktop, double click on My Computer. Under the heading Hard Disk Drives how many local drives do you have, what are they called (e.g. C:, D: etc.) and how much is shown under the columns Total Size and Free space for each disk.

C: NTFS Size 104gb 35 free
D: NTFS Size 4.39mb free 1.89 (should be about 180gb)
E: NTFS Size 94gb free 82.5
F: NTFS Size 85.1 free 7.8
G: NTFS Size 92.5 free 71.5
Heres the info

Why?
Your hard disk is divided into 5 separate partitions and only you can explain why that should be. If you add together the first figures for each partition that will give you the total size of the hard disk. You've mixed gb, mb and no indication at all so I can't tell what it should be. The D: drive appears to be 4.39mb with 1,89mb free.
The C: drive is the one that normally contains Windows itself.

Drive D is not a partition and this is now 4MB on my computer but in disk manager I see the full 180GB
This is what I have lost somehow the MB and GB are right as it shows.
I just cannot get the computer to allow me access to the missing 180 GB.
All was ok in the morning

What is it then? And what are all the other drives I can see in that list?
