My Hard drive recently crashed and I had to replace it. Does this mean all of my AOL Personal Filing Cabinet that was saved to this computer is now gone. Please say it ain't so. Somehow I thought all of those e-mails (several years worth) were saved on AOL. No? Can anyone help? Please.

Depends where it was saved to If they was "Save to AOL" you are safe but if you saved to "On my PC" then you may have lost them Unless you can access the old drive
I'm assuming you have a router and It opens on your homepage? Try this even if you are on a broadband Modem go to www.aol.com and recently the browser Home page has be altered to match that home page If you are on the AOL browser it'll be the UK version Otherwise its the US version (which is better)
Try open your email from there? NOTE its a different layout on the AOL Main Site as opposed to the browser version . But you can get at all the AOL Mail goodies Saved to AOL/PC ect
BUT...If the PC section is empty then you are stuck unless you can link your old drive up and Retrieve the files (as a PFC file)
The old Mail section will be intact but that autosaves back 1 Month only Do click on the Manage Mail tab and Check the folders in the left Frame. Worth making a custom folder to move Wanted Mail into stops the auto delete clock Only thing you cannot do on the Web AOL Page is save Favourites If you want to save something then It has to be saved to Internet Explorer OK?
